The City of Angels experienced widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Crowds
Local events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
